SHEFFIELD RADICAL PRIDE WILL BE ON JULY 4TH 2026!
- Meet at 1pm outside the City Hall in Sheffield City Centre
- We’ll then march through town to the Ponderosa Park
- From 3pm at the Ponderosa there’ll be a party, with stalls, activities, and food!
How to get involved
We’re an open organisation which all queer people are welcome to join. We think that as many people should be involved in organising as possible, else we can hardly call ourselves radical! We have a large WhatsApp community group anyone is welcome to join, where we post open meeting details (as well as on social media and our website)
The upcoming meetings before Pride are:
– Monday 15th June 6-9pm at Raccoon Studios, S2 5TS. We’ll be sorting out final logistics for the march & party. There will be free hot vegan food provided, and the space & toilet is level access
– Tuesday 30th June 6-9pm at Gut Level, S1 2PD. We’ll be having a placard-making session and a protest Know Your Rights. There will be free hot vegan food provided, and the space & toilet is level access.

What to bring
Some useful things to bring:
– Water
– Snacks
– Suncream and/or waterproofs (check the weather!)
– A banner or placard (but not a mass manufactured one)
– A face covering
– A friend 🙂
The blocs
Every year at Radical Pride, we have several blocs within the march. Anyone is welcome to autonomously organise their section. A bloc is the name we give for the sections we officially support & platform due to the oppression they face within the Queer community. The blocs are:
– QTIPOC (Queer, trans, intersex people of colour)
– Disability
– Sex worker
– Migrant solidarity
– Parents & kids
Know Your Rights
It’s important to remember that Pride is a protest, and we’ll be treating it as such. While we have never experienced heavy-handed policing at our events, it’s still good to be prepared – the state isn’t our friend! Our stewards will be handing out bustcards with legal information, and we suggest you consider wearing a face covering.
For more information about your rights at protests, visit the activist legal support organisation Green & Black Cross. They have a specific guide to being trans & protesting. They also run regular online Know Your Rights which you can sign up to here.
